| Abstract🐖： | We review some basic differential geometry of surfaces in $R^3$ and quantize them in the sense of deformation quantization. Then we apply the new theory of quantum surfaces to study the quantization of certain classical black hole spacetimes such as the Schwarzschild spacetime in general relativity. |
