| Abstract： | In this lecture, I would like to give a survey on Teichm/"uller spaces of Riemann surfaces and moduli spaces. Especially I am interested in the "natural orbifold structure" of the Deligne-Mumford compactification of moduli spaces. The lecture will give the "natural" orbifold structure of the compactified moduli space. In particular, we will show that certain crystallographic groups arize from the orbifold charts around the cusp points. |
