| Abstract🈴： | A A fundamental topology problem is to classify closed manifolds up to homeomorphism. Surgery theory was developed to address this problem. We will describe this 3 step process and Borel's amazing conjecture that these steps can always be accomplished when these manifolds are aspherical.
